Alright, so I haven't been around in a long time...I've been pretty busy, working and what not. Howeverr, I am back!!! And I can not believe I didn't think to write this a whole lot sooner!!! Oh, you know where I am going with this...ESPN...Ugh, I am SO done with them!!! Steve Phillips??? What does he know about baseball?!? Other than to trade away a future staff ace! He's a loud mouth who needs to be beaten. Jon Miller and Joe Morgan...well they work for ESPN, thats where they are at fault. I truly believe when you are hired to work for that company...part of your job HAS to be to HATE the New York Yankees!!! I mean, it can't get any more obvious...and they aren't the only network to do it so noticably...more on that later. They want to pick on everything that is wrong with the Yankees...while they are winning!!! I mean, paaleeease!!! The one thing that made me write this was a comment by Joe Morgan in the Yankees-Red Sox game on Sunday Night Baseball. Alex Rodriguez went from first to third on a double down the right field line...and according to Joe Morgan, he didn't score because he isn't running at full strength...the right field wall is like 10 feet away!!! NO ONE is scoring on a hard line drive off that wall, the outfielder gets the ball back in way too quickly. I saw A-Rod run just fine the other day, when the Yankees were spanking the Red Sox all over the Bronx on Friday night, I'm pretty sure he scored from first on a ball down the LEFT field line...because its not 10 feet away!!! I watched A-Rod run from first to third on Sunday Night Baseball and he looked just fine! Some may say I don't really have an argument. Some may wonder why I am complaining at all with the Yankees winning lately...and sweeping the 4-game series against the Red Sox, thank you very much!!! This is more of how I've felt for a long time...just haven't wrote about it until now. Everything I've said about ESPN can be said for the other network, FOX...we all know they hate the Yankees...they don't try and hide it, pathetic...just pathetic!
